Back to her day job: Cheeky Rihanna is back on stage and performing in Brazil

By PAMELA OWEN

Cheeky: Rihanna was as raunchy as ever on stage but her performance received a luke-warm response

She is known for her raunchy performances in skimpy clothing and Rihanna did not disappoint her fans when she performed in Brazil for the first time.

The star recently took some time out from her busy schedule and went on a short trip to the small Italian village of Portofino after performing at the V Festival in Essex.

I'll be back: Rihanna used social networking site Twitter to tell fans she would definitely be back to the South American country

Despite being bombarded by excited locals she still managed to enjoy taking casual walks along the beach as well as browse local shops.

But she was back to doing what she does best at the weekend and that was strutting her stuff on stage in front of thousands.

Wearing black fish net stockings and a black and white leotard which was clinched in at the waist with a belt, the singer looked stunning as she brought her Loud Tour to Sao Paulo.

Sensual: Fans used Twitter to tell the singer how much they loved her show

She went for the natural look and let her brown hair fall in loose curls around her face.

Rihanna, who has never been to the South American country before, tweeted just before the show: 'SAO PAULO LET'S DO THISSSS!!! #LOUDtourBRAZIL'

But critics have said although her stage presence was good with good dance routines, her singing was luke-warm.

Others have said the pop star should stick to singing Reggae-inspired music like her hit 'What's My Name' and 'Man Down' rather than dance or pop.

Let me hear you scream: Rihanna, who is recording a new album, took her Loud Tour to Brazil for the first time

But die-hard Rihanna fans didn't complain with many complimenting the singer on social networking site Twitter during the show.

Rihanna, who is currently recording a new album, tweeted after the concert: 'SAO PAULO I love you! I will definitely be back!!!'

Girls wanna have fun: Rihanna looked as though she was thoroughly enjoying herself on stage

The Loud Tour is the fourth by the artist who vowed to visit more than 20 countries in America and Europe.

She will arrive in the UK early October where many of her shows in London are already sold out.

Bringing music back: Justin Timberlake directs and stars in video for hip-hop band FreeSol

By IONA KIRBY

Many talents: Justin Timberlake has directed and appeared in a music video for hip-hop band FreeSol

He may have forged a successful acting career, but Justin Timberlake has not forgotten his roots.

Which may be why he has made a return to music.

the 30-year-old former NSync member has directed a music video for hip-hop band FreeSol.

Bringing music back: Justin, seen in a hoody and a cap is seen throghout the Freesol video

After seeing a performance at a small jazz cafe in their hometown of Memphis Tennessee, Justin (also Memphis born and bred) quickly signed the group to his label Tennman Records.

He then landed them a major deal with Interscope Records.

And the star has been a driving force in trying to ensure success for FreeSol.

Rear view: Justin enjoyed an extremely successful music career performing with the likes of Kylie, seen here in 2003, before turning his hand to acting

But he hasn't entirely stayed on the other side of the camera. Justin also can be seen in the video, dancing and goofing around with the group and singing along to the track.

He teased his Twitter followers by posting last night: 'New music... if you like it pass it along.'

The tweet contained a link for the video of the song Hoodies On, Hats Off.

Back in the day: Justin with his fellow NSync band members in 2000

Mila snapped at the reporter in her native Russian: 'Why movies? Why not? What kind of question is that? Why are you here?'

Justin laughed off the Black Swan star's retort, telling the crowd: 'This is my bodyguard.'

He is currently filming for his new sci-fi thriller In Time.

The movie, which he stars in with Amanda Seyfried, is set in a world where time and not money is the currency.

Good friends: Mila Kunis stuck up for Justin's decision to focus on acting

Cam Newton Humorously Sings Justin Bieber Song (Video)

I thought I was done writing for the night, but apparently not. When I saw this little gem of a video, featuring football player, Cam Newton, singing Justin Bieber's "Baby" I knew the night was not over. Newton is singing parts of the song like he got stabbed.

All I have to say is, thank goodness he plays football. Dude may look like Sam Cooke, but he sure doesn't sing like him (teasing). Still, he sounds better than Britney Spears and Rihanna. Newton's rapping was also much better than his singing. Still, after the impressive record he's had in college ball, we know what his true talent is for sure.

Hollywood Glamorizes The Mafia At Kids Expense

The Sopranos

Hollywood and its component, the music industry, are known for having their financial feet in mafia coffers, as they have funded a number of tinseltown and record label projects. As a result, over the years, they have and continue to, glamorize the violent, brutal and unethical lifestyle of the mafia, as though it is something to be proud of, when it is not. Hollywood and the music industry have done this at the expense of impressionable teens and kids, which deserves the strongest rebuke and denunciation.

Shows such as the "Sopranos" and movies like "Scarface" "Goodfellas" and the forthcoming "Gotti" biopic, glorify violence, hate, misogyny, promiscuous sex and thievery. A number of music albums have done the same. Youth, whose minds are like sponges, take in this so-called entertainment and attempt to emulate it to their detriment. However, it is not cool when they get killed or arrested for trying to behave like a criminal character on television or wax.

Justin Bieber

Eggs were thrown at pop singer, Justin Bieber, 17, during his Sydney, Australia concert. The Bieber made a stop in the "land down under" and an egg conspiracy ensued. As the chart topper belted out his hits, eggs started flying at him from two directions, by anti-Biebers that bought tickets to the show to hassle him. Only chickens toss eggs.

Justin Bieber Premieres A Line Of Singing Toothbrushes And Dental Floss

Justin Bieber

Do you have trouble getting your kids up for school in the morning. The Justin Bieber singing toothbrush just may do the trick. That's right, the 17-year-old pop star is debuting his own line of musical toothbrushes, guaranteed to get your kids excited about plaque removal.

Bieber Brushes

For fans, it's the closest thing you'll get to the Bieber brushing your teeth for you, unless you become his girlfriend. Personally, that's a little too close for comfort in a relationship, when you reach the level of mutual teeth brushing.

Bieber Floss

Where some stars brag about flossing (displays of wealth) - the Bieber is doing that literally. There's also a minted dental floss line "to get into those hard to reach places brushing alone" doesn't catch. Ok, now I'm going to stop writing like an infomercial. For more on Bieber's toothbrushes visit www.justinbiebertoothbrush.com.

Justin Bieber

17-year-old pop singer, Justin Bieber, has been voted one of the most influential people in the world. Bieber 's had a whirlwind rise to fame and fortune, earning over $100,000,000. That can buy a lot of haircuts. The young singer is currently touring Malaysia and was spotted reuniting with his girlfriend, actress, Selena Gomez, at a local airport.

The Jacksons in the 1970s

You know what I'm thinking. No, not that I'm the most humble and best blogger in the world (even though I am). Somewhere Joe Jackson is wishing that Justin Bieber were his grandson (so he could pimp him).

I saw this on a parody site and it is so wrong (LOL)

Can you imagine Joe Jackson running after Justin Bieber with a belt like in the movie. Joe would be yelling at Justin, "Pick up that brick...now put it down!" "go break a switch off that tree" "go practice your turns and tossing your hair in the mirror for an hour...and don't touch my guitar!" I'm just playing Joe - don't get mad (translation: I don't want the belt either).

Lady Gaga Crazily Believes God Gave Her The Lyrics To "Judas"

Lady Gaga

Singer and cocaine addict, Lady Gaga, is cracking in the face of criticism over her new song "Judas." In the track, the singer proclaims she is in love with Judas. It is a perverse homage to the track "Sympathy for the Devil" carrying the same sick concept.

In a failed bid to defend her poor conduct, Lady Gaga stated, "(Starts crying) I feel like honestly that God sent me those lyrics and that melody. When you feel a message to give to the world and people are shooting arrows through it … there’s no way for something that pure to be wrong.”

Why would God give her a song praising the man that betrayed His Son, leading to Jesus murder. Since that time in history, the name Judas has held a negative meaning to it, used as a term to indicate a backstabber and traitor. The drugs are clouding Gaga's brain once again. Gaga's song is disgusting.

Toni Braxton Says She Is More Popular In Europe

"Braxton Family Values"

Singer Toni Braxton, who stars in the new reality show "Braxton Family Values" insists she is more popular in Europe. However, that's something all artists say when their singing careers hit the skids.

Ironically, Braxton sings better than the Britneys, Rihannas and Keshas of today, but is lacking the chart success she enjoyed in the 1990s at Laface Records. It's a testament to how poor and low brow the music industry has become.

Braxton stated this week that she does one off dates in Europe and they support her family well. The singer has two children and is in the middle of a divorce. Here's hoping she and her husband get back together.

Cute Christian Spoof Of Rebecca Black's "Friday"

An adorable young girl named Sadie B has done a Christian spoof of Rebecca Black's viral hit "Friday" entitled "Sunday." Only she has made the song about going to church and having faith in God. She has a nice voice and the theme is quite appropriate.

Justin Bieber And Rebecca Black Up For Gongs At MTV Internet Award Show

Justin Bieber

MTV, the network that has the worlds "Music Television" in its title, yet really doesn't play much of it any more, is launching the O Music Awards show. The ceremony will honor internet based artists and "digital music."

Teen stars, Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black are up for awards. Nutty 25-year-old singer, Lady Gaga has received nominations as well, being an artist that started her career on MySpace.com. Ironically, MySpace is sinking faster than Kirstie Alley on "Dancing With The Stars" this week. But back to the article.

Rebecca Black

Finally, Rebecca Black will get to meet Justin Bieber, who she has a crush on and he will dump Selena Gomez for her and they will run off into the sunset (Ok, you know that's what she's thinking, because she totally paid me to write that - joking).

While Black's song has reportedly irritated many, had the chorus been done differently, that would not have happened (it's the way the word "Friday" is sung). However, what I like about her is that she has inadvertently thumbed her nose at Hollywood and the status quo and achieved a hit single and fame without them.

Justin Bieber Used To Live In A Place With Rats

Justin Bieber: I hate rats!

Before hitting it big as a pop star, Justin Bieber, used to live in an apartment that had a vermin problem, which has happened to many a musician. To combat the issue, the Bieber and his mom would set traps to catch the little critters.

It must have been difficult living with rats, but I'm sure it prepared him for the entertainment industry, which is full of them. Oh please, don't look at me like that, the industry had that joke coming. Actually, I take that back. They're not rats - they're sharks.

Bieber certainly is a rags to riches story, as his net worth is now estimated to be $100,000,000 and counting. No more rats for you (at least not the kind on four legs). Not too shabby, young Bieber. Not bad for a couple years work.

Has Justin Bieber Dethroned Justin Timberlake As The Prince Of Pop

Justin v. Justin

Justin Bieber

Just two short years ago, Justin Timberlake was the prince of pop. His name was all over the place and the music charts. However, since the arrival of singing sensation, Justin Bieber, Timberlake's popularity has plummeted in the pop genre. So, the question is, has Bieber dethroned Timberlake. I think the answer to that question would be a resounding yes.

Justin Timberlake

Ironically, Timberlake tried to sign Bieber to a recording contract, but R&B singer, Usher, beat him to the punch. Bieber has since sold 9,000,000 records and made over $100,000,000. Looks like Timberlake lost on both fronts.

Christina Aguilera's Mug Shot Released

Christina Aguilera and boyfriend Matt Wilder

The mug shot of 30-year-old singer, Christina Aguilera, has been released and she really looks worse for wear. Aguilera was arrested this week for public drunkenness, in a vehicle driven by her inebriated 25-year-old boyfriend, Mathew Rutler.

The two went out on a date, though Aguilera is married to Jordan Bratman, the father of her child, whom she is divorcing. Aguilera drank a lot of liquor, as did Rutler, resulting in an arrest when they went behind the wheel.

Christina Aguilera mug shot

Aguilera's marriage and career have disintegrated, due to her erratic, mentally unstable conduct, fuelled by Kabbalah, cocaine and alcohol. She took bad advice on her latest CD, in patterning the lead single "Not Myself Tonight" after the unoriginal career of pop tart Madonna and it bombed on the charts.

An "homage" favor to the aforementioned celebrity cult friend, to keep Madonna's faded name in the news, was more trouble than it is worth (see: Christina Aguilera Divorcing For Publicity).
