Unlucky in love Kerry Katona tries her luck with online dating... and it doesn't take her long to find a new man

She's not had the best luck when it comes to her love life.

So it was only a matter of time before Kerry Katona turned to the internet in a bid to find herself a reliable man.

The twice-divorced reality TV star signed up with online dating website match.com and arranged a date with a man called Stuart Nuttall.

However, despite the website advising users to meet their prospective partners in a public place, Kerry opted to pick Stuart up from Warrington train station in her car.

Mother-of-four Kerry then drove Stuart to her mother's house to drop off the car before the pair made their way to the Orford Hotel for a drink.

Kerry is said to have told her friends before the date: 'I’m sick of being single.

'I’m not going to meet a man sitting in my bedroom so why shouldn’t I date online?'

But friends of the former Atomic Kitten singer are said to be concerned that Kerry could have been putting herself in danger by meeting up with a man she has never met before.

The friend told the Sunday People newspaper: 'Stuart seemed lovely but Kerry could have been picking up anyone.

'Internet dating is all the rage but Kerry needs to stick to the rules. She should have met him, particularly on date one, in a public place not in her car.

'It’s just so sad. She is just so desperate to find love and will do anything, even if that means risking her safety, to find it.'

Kerry was previously married to Brian McFadden and Mark Croft, and most recently dated 'fame hungry' Dan Foden, who then sold a story about her after they broke up.

The friend added: 'Her friends and family are worried because she’s so vulnerable and open to falling for yet another unsuitable man who could bring her life crashing round her ears.

'She’s off drugs and has been for a long time now. She’s only just cleared her debts from being with Mark.

'She doesn’t need another man bleeding her dry. But Kerry has gone back to being reckless and thinks she knows it all.'
