Feeling good: Kirstie Alley, pictured here at New York Fashion Week earlier this month, has lost 100lbs

She has lost a 100lbs, and now Kirstie Alley is hoping to gain a new man.

The former Dancing With The Stars runner-up has revealed she is looking for love again after transforming her figure.

The newly-confident 60-year-old says that before she lost weight, she wasn't confident in the bedroom.

'I didn't like the way I looked, and I didn't want to have fat sex,' she says in the new issue of People magazine.

While she is still not entirely certain she feels 'sexy', she is open to the idea of a relationship.

'What I'm looking for is to be madly, deeply in love. For the first time in my life, I know exactly what I want in a man. I want someone who has my back, who is courageous and brave.

Kirstie, a notorious yo-yo dieter and former Jenny Craig spokesperson, celebrated her 100lbs weight loss milestone earlier this year and said it was a big moment for her.

'When I hit that mark, I went: 'That's it!' I have more energy that I've ever had in my whole life.'

She added: 'My body had gotten really weak. There was nothing positive about being fat.'

'I feel back to normal. I have my game again.'

While Kirstie has previously said she fits into a U.S. size four - a claim called into question by Project Runway fashion consultant Tim Gunn - she now says she wears a U.S. size six.

To get in shape, Cheers danced up to two hours a day, six days a week and followed her own programme, Organic Liaison.

The mother-of-two, who is divorced from Bob Alley and Parker Stevenson, has been single for some time and has previously talked about having long spells of celibacy.
