They share a 26-year age gap, and it perhaps showed in their wardrobe last night as Alec Baldwin and his 27-year-old girlfriend Hilaria Thomas stepped out for a night out on the town.

The couple wore two very different outfits as they were spotted leaving the Saturday Night Live after party at Buddakan restaurant in New York City.

Alec, 53, looked dapper in a black slimline suit and open white neck shirt, while his yoga instructor girlfriend kept it casual and youthful in a pair wax trousers, a white t-shirt and a pair of black leather knee-high boots.

Walking side-by-side to an awaiting car, the 30 Rock actor stayed close to his brunette beauty.

She wore her dark hair out in a straight style and carried a black leather handbag.
After saying goodbye to mutual friends, the happy couple sped off into the night.
The outing came directly after Alec hosted Saturday Night Live's first show of the 37th season.

And it wasn't his first time either.
The actor has hosted the show a whopping 16 times, breaking a SNL record.
Alec was joined by fellow funnyman Steve Martin, who he made sure to boast to about surpassing his own 15-time hosting record.

'This is my 16th time hosting, which means tonight I'm passing Steve Martin and setting a new record for the most times hosting SNL,' Alec said.

'Now a lot of people make a big deal about the record. I don't really care about that, it's not a competition, because if it was a competition…I've won.

'When you think about it time is on my side. What is Steve? 100? So, no matter how many times he hosts, I'll always have time to catch up.'

Earlier this month, Alec couldn't wait to show off new girlfriend Hilaria when he made an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.

Speaking quite openly about their relationship, he told the chat show host: 'I think my girlfriend is here, David.'

Letterman then responded by saying: 'Do you mind if we take a look?'

Hilaria looked rather shy at being thrust into the spotlight but responded with a wave.
