The Shah Rukh Khan-Salman Khan Tussle

Seems like the Shah Rukh Khan-Salman Khan tussle just got worse. This time, the bone of contention is a film title. Director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, of Salman-starrer Lucky - No Time For Love (2005) fame, wanted the title Happy New Year for their next film to be produced by Bhushan Kumar.

Apparently, Shah Rukh asked Bhushan to change the title after he learnt that Vinay and Radhika, friends of the Dabangg (2010) star, wanted to direct it.

However, Vinay isn’t amused. "We asked the producer to get us the title, but it belongs to Shah Rukh. I don’t understand why he can’t give it to us. I know he’s not even making the film anymore," says Vinay, according to whom Happy New Year is perfect for their film, which is now called I Love New Year.

"Farah (Khan) was supposed to direct Happy New Year, but as far as I know, she isn’t working with Red Chillies any more. If SRK isn’t making it, he should give us the title." Besides helming Lucky, Vinay and Radhika have worked with Salman in a few songs for Dabangg too.

"He is our original hero, and will always be a special person and mentor," says Vinay, whose film I Love New Year, starring Sunny Deol and Kangna Ranaut, will coincide with the release of SRK’s Don 2.

"We didn’t plan it on purpose." Ask him if he feels all this title trouble taking place is due to apparent problems between the two Khans and he smiles, "Maybe. I don’t know if personal issues can really affect professional decisions."

KKR Owner Shah Rukh Khan Thanked His IPL Players

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan thanked his players for putting up a magnificent performance in the current edition of the Indian Premier League and said that it felt ’really strange’ to see the side on a winning spree as it was only used to losing in the previous three seasons.

’I thank the boys for putting up a good show. They are really playing well. Especially the way the youngsters are performing and the way the have been carried forward by the superiors is really magnificent,’ said Shah Rukh Khan at a post-match party Saturday.

’We were only losing and when you keep on losing you get used to that. So it is really strange that we are winning,’ said Shah Rukh.

KKR, which is currently at second place in the points table, had fared badly in the earlier three editions. It is the only franchise which failed to make it to the

semifinal even once between 2008 and 2010.

Shah Rukh was asked how difficult it was to be in the city and cope with the emotions triggered by Sourav Ganguly’s exclusion from the team after the Kolkata boy was an integral part of KKR in the previous seasons.

’We respect the emotions. We all love Sourav. But as the son of India I also belong to every city and Kolkata will also love me for that,’ he replied.

Shah Rukh Khan Will Be Locking Lips In Ra.One

Finally, the king of romance is all set for the ultimate act. Buzz has it that Shah Rukh Khan will be locking lips with his leading lady in the much awaited ‘Ra.One’.

The superstar, who has refrained from an all out smooch on-screen despite ruling the Box Office for over a decade now, will be seen doing intimate scenes with none other than Kareena Kapoor in his next film.

Apparently, whenever SRK was asked to do such sequences, he would vehemently refuse. However, after maintaining his policy for many years, SRK is ready to shed his ‘no-kisser’ image for one of the sensuous tracks of ‘Ra.One’, where he will kiss Bebo!

While some claim that it’s a slight brush of the lips that the two share, others say that the two have actually engaged in a full blown kiss.

When contacted, an insider from the film says, “The buzz about them having smooched is very strong indeed. There have been so many queries on this kiss so far, but sorry we can’t divulge anything related to the film at all.”

However, a source close to the superstar wards off these claims as ‘rubbish rumours’. “No way!” says the source. “Shah Rukh’s never ever done it before. It’s a promise he’d made and he won’t break it for anything. Besides, he’s never had to resort to kissing-on-the-lips for his romantic image. He’s definitely not doing it now!” added the good friend.

The reported kiss has apparently generated quite a buzz among his fans, something whose authenticity can be exposed only when ‘Ra.One’ hits the theatres this Diwali.
