Recently on her flight back from Dharamshala after an IPL match she was overheard talking about all the juicy Tinsel Town news with the captain of her team Adam Gilchrist.

The actress was so engrossed in her litany of gossiping about people that she least cared about care of co-passengers eavesdropping.

Preity discussed everyone from Gilchrist’s Australian teammate Shane Warne to his ladylove Elizabeth Hurley, to Hollywood and Bollywood. The ex-Australian wicket keeper could do least to stop Preity from talking. So he kept hearing all what she had to chat.

"I guess I`ll be seeing a lot of Shane Warne now. Elizabeth Hurley and me have a lot of common friends, so we keep seeing each other. She has this set of eight people who are always with her when she parties, and now I guess Shane will be one of them. Like for example Valentino`s yacht party,” a tabloid quoted the dimpled actress as saying.

“I have to carry all my dressy clothes and all that. There are just four hotels between which everyone is put up. So, like, you are having breakfast and turn around and there is Leonardo Di Caprio. Look right and there`s Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt,” Preity added.

Well, PZ is a complete girl who loves to talk and keep on talking but it’s not always a good idea to be so loud honey!

Sourav Ganguly Did Not Play In The Match Against Punjab

Fans of former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly were disappointed as the stylish cricketer was not part of the Pune Warriors playing eleven in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kings XI Punjab here Sunday.

Ganguly, who is also popularly known as ’Dada’, made a dramatic comeback in the fourth season of the IPL this week after he was signed by Pune Warriors India in place of an injured fast bowler Ashish Nehra.

However, he did not play in the match against Kings XI Punjab here at Punjab Cricket association (PCA) stadium Sunday.

’Ganguly wants to prepare well before playing any of the IPL matches. He is working very hard in the nets,’ said Pune Warriors India caption Yuvraj Singh explained before the start of the match.

’He has practiced very intensely on yesterday. I have not seen him practicing so hard even for the Test match before this,’ he added.

Ganguly, who had led Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders during the last IPL season, was given a cold shoulder during this year’s players auctions.

’I am very disappointed that Ganguly is not playing. I had come to the stadium just to see his batting,’ Prashant Jha, an ardent fan of Ganguly, told IANS.

Bhumika, another fan of Dada, said, ’Though Ganguly is not playing today but we want to wish him luck for the rest of the IPL matches. We want him to hit as many sixes as he can to ensure Pune’s win in the next matches.’

KKR Owner Shah Rukh Khan Thanked His IPL Players

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan thanked his players for putting up a magnificent performance in the current edition of the Indian Premier League and said that it felt ’really strange’ to see the side on a winning spree as it was only used to losing in the previous three seasons.

’I thank the boys for putting up a good show. They are really playing well. Especially the way the youngsters are performing and the way the have been carried forward by the superiors is really magnificent,’ said Shah Rukh Khan at a post-match party Saturday.

’We were only losing and when you keep on losing you get used to that. So it is really strange that we are winning,’ said Shah Rukh.

KKR, which is currently at second place in the points table, had fared badly in the earlier three editions. It is the only franchise which failed to make it to the

semifinal even once between 2008 and 2010.

Shah Rukh was asked how difficult it was to be in the city and cope with the emotions triggered by Sourav Ganguly’s exclusion from the team after the Kolkata boy was an integral part of KKR in the previous seasons.

’We respect the emotions. We all love Sourav. But as the son of India I also belong to every city and Kolkata will also love me for that,’ he replied.

The Indian Premier League (IPL), in all its four editions, has turned out to be a marriage of cricket and glamour.

On Saturday, Bollywood heartthrob Priyanka Chopra was at Eden Gardens here to watch the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs. Kings XI Punjab.

Priyanka was seen enjoying every moment of the action, sitting beside KKR co-owner and megastar Shah Rukh Khan.

She applauded every stroke but was most happy when KKR got wickets. ’Oh, I am really enjoying the game. KKR is doing great,’ she said.

On a high after KKR’s win in a previous game, Shah Rukh said, ’We have regained the momentum. We are performing much better this year. We will surely do well.’

Shah Rukh Adds Sachiin Joshi On His IPL Enourage List

Shah Rukh Khan adds one more to his enourage. While his regular actor buddies accompany him to all the Indian Premier League matches his team the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) play, entrepreneur-turned-actor Sachiin Joshi now joins that exclusive list.

Says a source, "SRK and Sachiin have been great friends for some time now. He was present at all the matches KKR played last year.

But this year, shooting commitments kept him away. When Sachiin ventured into the energy drink market, it was Shah Rukh who helped him launch it. The younger man is making his B-Town acting debut with a thriller titled Aazaan and SRK has been a great support."

A man to know

Says Sachiin, "I know Shah Rukh through common friends. He has been supporting my brand as a friend though we have no official contract with him as brand ambassador. It was generous of him to launch the product. I am fortunate to get an invite from him to attend his KKR matches. He is a great man to know!"

Salman Khan Is Brand Ambassador For Kochi IPL Team

With an eye on adding glamour, the latest entrant in the Indian Premier League, the Kochi team is in talks with Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to be the brand ambassadors for the Indi Commandos.

“We are currently talking to Salman and Katrina for endorsement deals,” Kochi IPL Team co-owner Mukesh Patel says. While Katrina has been seen promoting the Bangalore Royal Challengers in the past, Salman has been reported to be keen on buying an IPL team.

Salman KatrinaIndustry observers pointed out that if the deal is signed, the Kochi IPL team (officially named Indi Commandos) would get the much needed boost on the glamour front with the Dabangg of Bollywood, Salman promoting the team along with Katrina.

They pointed out that IPL is not only about of cricket, and glamour plays an important part, with the likes of Shilpa Shetty adding zing for Rajasthan Royals and Shah Rukh Khan doing the same for Kolkata Knight Riders, while Preity Zinta ensures glamour for Kings XI Punjab.

The Kochi IPL team is even ready with a promotional video directed by film maker Priyadarshan, which is likely to be on air soon.
