18-year-old Brown was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, on underage drinking, fighting and gun possession charges. She grew up in a household with two drug addicted parents, Houston and singer Bobby Brown. Now it seems the reverse has happened, in the daughter's problems having an impact on her mother. How did I miss this one. Though it pains me to cite them as a public source, two days ago, the Nation Enquirer (*gagging*) published a story stating Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of singers, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was arrested in Roswell, Georgia, for underage drinking and gun possession. Wow, she is behaving like her dad did when he was roughly her age.

It is being said, 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, resisted arrest, as did her adopted brother. Brown and three males in a Honda, allegedly drove out of an Atlanta gated community, then spotted people they know in another vehicle. The fight began at a red light, then spilled over into a gas station. When the police tried to arrest the group, they allegedly fought back.

Fighting the police is not a good idea. If you remain calm and cooperative and it is later discovered you were falsely arrested or the victim of racial profiling, you'll have a strong case in court. However, the way this story is being told, it sounds like the police were not at fault, as fighting in public can lead to arrest.

During a recent interview on ABC News, singer Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of Whitney Houston and dad of her 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, denied all knowledge of his daughter's drug problems.

The question came out of nowhere during the interview, but is understandable under the circumstances. Brown was asked by interviewer, Tanya Rivero, what his take was on the photos that surfaced in the National Enquirer last week, featuring his daughter snorting lines of cocaine.

He quickly, but politely, cut her off and stated, "I don’t know anything about that. My daughter, she doesn’t do that." That has to be tough for a parent. No parent wants that for their child. Hopefully, her parents will get her the treatment she needs.

Houston has yet to comment on the devastating photos. But just wait until Brown finds out someone is perversely trying to shop a sex tape of his daughter, filmed when she was underage. Here's hoping he won't get arrested again and renamed beatdown Brown. No dad wants to know someone is taking advantage of their daughter in that manner.

One day later, Houston's daughter admitted she is the young woman featured in the photo snorting cocaine, but claims it was a set up and not what it looks like. Sadly, it is what it looks like. The photos were sold to the National Enquirer by Brown's ex-boyfriend, Zach Jafarzadeh. It was an unkind thing to do.

Regarding, Brown's explanation, there's no sense in lying about it. The best thing to do is get into a reputable rehab facility. Some people knock it, but it has worked for many. Even if you fall of the proverbial wagon, get sober again. Fight for your sobriety, as you are fighting for your life. It's better than abusing drugs and alcohol all the time.

Another item of concern is Houston snorted more than one line of cocaine in some of the photos, which is particularly troubling, as that level of drug use makes her a candidate for an overdose. She's got to rein in that problem. She's too young, with too much to live for, to play with her life via abusing drugs and alcohol. If an intervention is not staged, this is not going to end well.
