How passionate Pippa gave her chap a smacker at 4.30am after boxing match

They had just spent several hours watching well-bred young men beat each other senseless in the boxing ring.

Even at 4.30am, however, Pippa Middleton and Alex Loudon were still in romantic mood.

The couple shared a lingering kiss yesterday as they waited for a cab outside a London hotel where they had attended the Boodles Boxing Ball charity event.

Pippa gazed tenderly into her boyfriend’s eyes before the lateness of the hour caught up with her and she failed to stifle a yawn.

The couple’s body language dispelled any remaining suspicions that they had drifted apart following 28-year-old Pippa’s show-stealing appearance at the royal wedding in April, when her pert derriere won world-wide admiration.

Mr Loudon, 31, a former cricketer who played for England in a one-day international against Sri Lanka in 2006, is now a financier.

He and Pippa, younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, have been dating for more than three years.

For Saturday night’s event at the Park Plaza Hotel, she wore a striking red gown with plunging neckline and gold high heels with matching clutch purse.

Also attending the ball, which cost £1,950 per table of ten, were Geri Halliwell, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy and his brother William’s old flames Jecca Craig, Olivia Hunt and Isabella Anstruther- Gough-Calthorpe.

There was no sign of the princes, but their cousin Princess Beatrice made an appearance in a floral gown.

The Mail understands that Miss Davy is now dating Jamie Richards, the 29-year-old son of Aston Martin boss David Richards.

A well-placed source said the pair have enjoyed numerous romantic dinners and a cruise along the Thames over the past two months.

‘Although it is early days, they are very comfortable with each other and Jamie is proving to be a welcome distraction from her break-up from Harry,’ the source said.

‘Jamie is confident, rich and loves rugby – just the sort of guy Chelsy goes for.

‘They have told their close friends about each other, but are cautious about appearing at official events together yet.’

Jamie’s father, who was made a CBE in the 2005 New Year Honours list for his services to motorsport, is former head of the BAR and Benetton Formula One motor racing teams.

Return of the derriere: Another wedding, another dress, but this time Pippa makes a fashion faux-pas

Since appearing in THAT dress at her sister’s wedding, Pippa Middleton has been hailed as a global style icon.

But she made a rare fashion faux-pas at a friend’s wedding yesterday, when she turned up in vivid green - a colour traditionally associated with bad luck at marriage ceremonies.

Still, the elegant below-the-knee silky dress certainly showed off the 27-year-old’s enviable assets, and was topped with an elegant black feather fascinator.

Ignoring the old adage ‘weddings and green should never be seen’ was not Pippa’s only fashion fault, however, as she also wore cross-strapped suede high-heels - and the aristocratic set consider heels unsightly at weddings. Only kitten-heeled shoes are deemed acceptable in the country.

Pippa was at St Oswald’s Church in Lythe, near Whitby, North Yorkshire, for the wedding of her old friend from Edinburgh University, Humphrey Bowles, to bride Hattie Dawson.

Pippa attended without her boyfriend of two years, Alex Loudon, a 30-year-old financier, arriving instead with her mother Carole, 56, her father Michael, 50, and 23-year-old brother James.

A source said: ‘The Middleton family were placed on the top table to “preserve their privacy”, but there were whispers that this privilege had been requested rather than granted because Carole is not really that close to the couple.’

It was the fifth wedding Pippa has attended this year, including her starring role at her sister Kate’s Westminster Abbey ceremony in April.

Last week she attended the wedding of friends Rose Laing and Jake French, in Perthshire; in June she accompanied her sister to the wedding of amateur jockey Sam Waley-Cohen and Bella Ballin; and in February she went to the wedding of Patrick Valentine and Lady Katie Percy, the sister of Prince William’s friend George Percy.

Pippa Middleton supports her boyfriend's cricketing efforts but he fails to score a victory

Once again Pippa Middleton has been supporting her boyfriend's sporting pursuits.



Despite claims that her relationship with 30-year-old banker Alex Loudon was on the rocks she looked at ease as she watched the former England cricketer in action.



Armed with a picnic hamper and Waitrose goods Pippa, 27, bagged herself a prime spot on the field talking to players and waiting to greet her boyfriend with a loving embrace post-match.

As temperatures topped 21 Celsius Pippa opted for a red hot polka-dot dress - almost identical to the one she wore to Wimbledon this June from the Hobbs NW3 range.



Quashing any rumours of her single status she openly displayed her affections even grabbing a quick kiss during the match. She has been dating Alex for over a year but reports earlier this year revealed that their relationship had ended.



Eton-educated Alex, who previously played for England now captains his school team the Eton Ramblers. Last month Pippa was among the small gathering of devotees who turned up to watch Eton Ramblers, as they beat the Old Eastbournians in the Cricketers Cup, making it to the final round.



Long day: The match kicked off at 11am this morning and finished just after 6pm





Today the Eton Ramblers battled against the Old Malvernians in the finals of the Cricketer Cup at the London Shenley Club in Hertfordshire, but despite Alex's efforts to lead his team to victory the Old Malvernians secured a comfortable win by four wickets.



The Ramblers have won the competition twice - a 50-overs knock-out competition for the Old Boys of 32 schools - in 1992 and 2001.



The match started at 11am with a 2pm break for lunch where players were treated to a lunch of poached salmon, accompanied with new potatoes and carrots followed by chocolate mousse and apple crumble. Proceedings came to an end shortly after 6pm.

In 2007 Alex announced his retirement from cricket to pursue a business career enrolling in a Masters In Finance programme at the London Business School the following year.



Pippa, an English Literature graduate shot to stardom when she was the maid of honour at her sister Catherine's wedding to Prince William wearing in a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen gown.



Last week surgeons in the U.S. revealed that her appearance had sparked a wave of surgery requests, with women eager to achieve a similarly pert derriere, requesting what has been termed as the 'Pippa Butt Lift'.
