John Abraham broken and bruised!

New Delhi, Aug 5 : Shooting for his first full-fledged action film "Force" is proving to be injurious for John Abraham as the actor has already suffered 282 bruises, seven broken bones and innumerable scratches during the shoot.
              

"Force", directed by Nishikanth Kamath, boasts of adrenaline pumping action sequences. 

It has John with several physical injuries as the actor refused to use a body double.

According to sources, the film's production unit started maintaining a log book for all action sequences and people who performed it. The tally is said to have shocked everyone in the unit.

"Force" is a remake of Gautham Menon's successful 2003 Tamil Film "Kaakha Kaakha". 

John plays a cop in the film which also stars Genelia D'Souza. It is slated to release Sept 16.                                          

John Abraham Has Stripped Completely In Saat Khoon Maaf

Last time, he teased the audience with his suntanned butt when he showed off his toned body in Dostana and this time he’s taken it a step further, well, the last really.

Actor John Abraham has stripped almost completely in Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Saat Khoon Maaf.

John plays one of Priyanka’s husbands in the film and has shed his clothes for a steamy lovemaking scene.

The actor is actually wearing nothing although a cap has been strategically planted to save his modesty, reported Says.

The proof is the fact that this scene was shot with the ’bare’ minimum crew. It seemed that Bhardwaj was rather hell-bent on this scene, but we wonder how this will get past the censor scanner, which has been asking for scenes to be chopped left right and centre.

So, while John and Priyanka seem to be rather comfortable with the scene, is Bipasha as cool as well?

John Abraham Mom's Charitable Organisations

 After her son John Abraham became a star, Phiroza Irani detached herself from his career. She doesn't even have photographs or posters of his films in her house. However, after a screening of Aashayein recently, she asked him for a collage of his pictures from the movie.

"Phiroza aunty works with some charitable organisations. And one of them is for people who have been or are going through traumatic experiences," informs a friend of the Abraham family, adding, "She felt that the collage of pictures would symbolise hope for them."

The friend adds that Irani was stunned by John's performance. "She felt that the John on screen and the one she knew were two different people. She went home beaming at her son's act," says the friend.

While Abraham wasn't available for comment, his spokesperson confirms: "Considering that John's character in Aashayein epitomises hope, Phiroza aunty will be using the movie's story to encourage people to struggle through the difficult phases of life."

John Abraham To Start A Football Academy

John Abraham is gearing up to start a football academy in the city with the help of footballer Bhaichung Bhutia.

The two have decided to try to reduce the bureaucracy that stifles the game’s development in the world level and help more Indians interested in football to take to the game.

They have already applied for the requisite permissions and are hoping they will be sanctioned soon.

John is not the first B-town movie star to venture into sports. Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have a stake in the Indian Premiere League (IPL) team and have plans to start a Football Premier League. Preity Zinta, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla also have stakes in IPL.

John Abraham Drove Brad Pitt's Bike

No one can be as crazy as John when it comes to bikes. The actor, who has added a new custom made bike into his collection recently, feels his new bike is better than the bike Brad Pitt drove in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.

Apparently, John wanted to give his bike a unique touch and that’s when he contacted Vijay Singh from Rajputana Custom Cycles who’s a specialist in bike designing. Keeping John’s requirement and personality in mind, Vijay Singh designed a custom made 500cc classic bullet and delivered to John last Saturday.

“Bikes are indulgence for me and I don’t indulge in cars the way others do. I got a beautiful baby, a custom made 500cc classic bullet made by Vijay Singh,” said a love-struck John, who is completely besotted by the looks of his bike.

Describing his new bike John further said, “I make sure that my bike is not a typical chopper or has high rise handles, it has to look very retro. If I want to describe this new bike, I would say its kind of Brad Pitt’s bike from ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’,” after a pause of a few second, John declared, “But this baby is definitely ten times better than Brad’s.”

John Abraham To Make A FIFA World Cup Film

Actor John Abraham, a football lover, admits that he wants to make a film on every conceivable sport in the world.

"I've worked on a football movie, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal (2007), which didn't get the response it deserved, probably because we set it in Southall and not in India. But, I completely relish the idea of exploring victory, angst, jealousy and loss on a sports field. I want to show that these words have different connotations when you look at them with respect to sports," says Abraham, who agreed to work for a lesser fee for Abbas Tyrewala's 1-800-Love and take a cut in the film's subsequent profits.

The actor doesn't have a staff-driven line-production company right now, but when he's ready with one, he wants to make entertaining movies.

"I don't want to make pseudo cinema to prove to the world that I understand it. I hate being pretentious. I'll produce projects in which I can also act," say Abraham with a laugh, pointing out that his football movie would be as entertaining as Hollywood flicks Escape To Victory (1981) and Remember The Titans (2000).

"They gave the viewers goosebumps. That's what makes a sports film so special," he says.

Would he become a part of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's Football Premier League when it launches? Abraham says, "I appreciate their gesture because it's noble. I know that Sanjay Dutt has also pledged his support. I'll be more than happy to help them whenever they need me."

Abraham says he hasn't missed a single football match from the FIFA World Cup so far. "I hope Argentina wins. Their coach, Diego Maradona, one of my favourite footballers, has pledged to dance naked on the streets of Buenos Aires if they do. I can't be in that city, but it'll be a sight for sure," says the actor.

John Abraham And Bipasha Basu Refused Viagra Ad

As a power couple, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu draw the line at health and fitness products and services endorsements.

Proof of that recently came when they turned down an offer to promote an Indian herbal aphrodisiac despite being offered crores.

A source confirms, "They were approached to endorse the product but refused. Though the concoction consists high quality extracts from some of the world's most exotic herbs, it's a potent and effective natural sex enhancer."

No viagra, please!

The buzz is that the aphrodisiac contains viagra. The source adds, "John's manager was approached for a couple endorsement but she said that they don't back products that have viagra and said no.

The jodi is committed to health and fitness and Bipasha has promised to endorse only health products."

When contacted Bipasha says, "I strongly believe in credible products and these are in sync with my passion for fitness and health.

I am very happy to be associated with products that encourage people to switch to a healthier lifestyle. But I have never been approached for the other thing (the herbal aphrodisiac)."

However she stresses she would endorse products not connected to health and fitness but are "In sync with my personality. It could be cosmetics, automobiles, luxury products, fashion goods, home appliances etc."

Bips endorses a brand of honey only because the brand is committed to health and fitness. Says the actress, "I strongly believe in credible products and this one is in sync with my passion for health.
