I'm not going to obsess over being thinner or having bigger boobs, I don't want that in my life': Adele speaks out about her figure

Happy as she is: Adele who graces the cover of UK Vogue for the October issue has spoken out about her fuller figure


While many young singers are obsessed with staying slim there is one star that makes no apology for her fuller figure.

And in a revealing interview singing sensation Adele says she is happy just the way she is and her voluptuous shape has never been an issue.

Speaking to Vogue the 23-year-old who also posed for a series of stunning portraits said: ‘I enjoy being me; I always have done.’


‘I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I just don’t want that in my life.’

And it seems the people she surrounds herself with ensure she maintains a positive self-image.

She explained: ‘It’s just never been an issue – at least, I’ve never hung out with the sort of horrible people who make it an issue. I have insecurities of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.'

Adele, who was forced to cancel the first two dates of her U.K. tour yesterday because of a severe cold and chest infection, has also revealed why you won’t see her as the face of a brand anytime soon, no matter how high the offer is.

She told the magazine: ‘I don’t want to see me plastered everywhere, before adding ‘If they offered me £10million, I’d be like f*** off. Besides if I was going to be the face of anything it should be the face of full-fat coke.’

Adele’s star just keeps on rising her second album 21 has sold over 3.5million copies and broke the solo female artist record for staying at number one for eleven weeks.

But while she is currently in higher demand than ever the singer has been forced to cancel the first two dates of her U.K. tour because of ill health.

In a blog post to her website she explained: ‘im as useless as a slug right now, ive had a rotten cold,’ before adding: ‘id rather not do a show, then not do a good one for you. (sic)

Adele is scheduled to perform in Cardiff on Wednesday.

Making a splash, nightclub raver Harry plunges into swimming pool without stopping to undress

He has done his best to shake off his tag as a playboy prince by applying himself to his military career.



But this weekend Prince Harry was back on form and partying with the best of them.



Arriving at one of Europe’s leading open-air nightclubs, the 26-year-old royal threw himself into the party spirit and, for good measure, into a swimming pool – without stopping to take off his clothes.

Laughing, he hauled himself out and danced barefoot on the side to the ear-splitting sounds of house music as fellow clubbers roared their approval. Harry was later seen at the bar wearing a borrowed white T-shirt with his damp shirt tied round his waist.



The prince had flown to Croatia for a mini-break with a group of friends on an EasyJet flight on Saturday. He is believed to be staying on a yacht near the pretty island of Hvar where on Saturday night he headed for the Veneranda nightclub.

The prince, who is currently training to become an Army Air Corps Apache pilot in Suffolk, wasted in no time in making the most of his mini-break and headed out on the town hours after arriving, accompanied by his best friend, Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip,



As an Apache attack helicopter pilot, he is in the top two per cent of pilots in the Army Air Corps - despite once insisting he was ‘too thick’ to fly such an advanced aircraft.

But the prince has impressed his instructors with his natural aptitude for flying and has mastered the notoriously challenging machine with ease.



He is due back in the UK this week as he has to attend an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday in his position as patron of WellChild, which provides help and support to terminally and seriously ill children and their families.

Dirty Dianna! Glee star Agron goes grungy as she dyes her hair pink

It seems Glee star Dianna Agron can't make up her mind about what to do with her hair.



After recently cutting her long blonde locks short, the 25-year-old actress has now done something even more dramatic by dying it pink.



Dianna, who plays cheerleader Quinn Fabray on the hit Fox show, was spotted today sporting the grungy look as got into her Audi in Los Angeles carrying what appeared to be a smoothie.

She teamed her out-there look with a pair of red-rimmed sunglasses and a white, patterned summer dress.



Dianna, who used to date British star Alex Pettyfer, is currently promoting new film Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, which opens in cinemas tomorrow night.



On Sunday she turned out to the Los Angeles premiere of the flick alongside her co-stars, including Lea Michele.

At the event, Dianna was still with her cropped blonde bob - so her pink transformation has only happened in the last few days.



The actress graces the cover of the September issue of Cosmopolitan, telling the magazine how she does not want to become the next Lindsay Lohan.



Agron says she has learnt from Lohan's career mistakes, saying: 'She's an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life.



'They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don't want that to happen to me.'
