Jennifer Lopez demands 21m dollars matching Simon Cowell to return to 'American Idol'

London, July 26 : Pop star Jennifer Lopez has demanded 21 million dollars to continue as a judge on the ‘American Idol’.

The 42-year-old singer, who recently broke up with her husband Marc Anthony, gave the show’s bosses a tough time last week after it was learnt that she would not make a comeback to the hit ITV2 series.

However, the executives claimed that the star has returned to the negotiating table - and admitted they were confident she would return.

“We’re in good shape. No worries. No dark clouds on the horizon,” the Sun quoted show boss Cecile Frot-Coutaz as saying.

However, the negotiation will cost the bosses a big sum as sources now have suggested that Lopez has claimed an equal amount to what Simon Cowell had been earning when he was a judge on the Fox TV show – 21 million dollars.

Lopez received 8 million dollars, nearly three times less than Cowell, last time.

London, July 23 : Simon Cowell was stunned when Jennifer Lopez's marriage to Marc Anthony ended, as he never thought their "bickering" was a sign of more serious problems.

The couple announced the end of their seven-year union last week. They revealed the decision to part ways was "painful" but "amicable".

Cowell was Lopez's predecessor as a judge on "American Idol".

"I didn't see it coming. They always seemed to get on. They would bicker, but everyone bickers," contactmusic.com quoted Cowell as saying.

Washington, July 11 : Jennifer Lopez is reportedly staying on as a judge on ‘American Idol’ following her continued involvement with the show.

According to E! Online, Lopez, 41, has allegedly signed on the dotted line for the 11th season of the Fox show, and will be joining current judges, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

She had initially told Radio One DJ Scott Mills that she was unsure about her future on the Idol judging panel.


“I don’t know. I haven’t been forced to make a decision and I’m glad about that because honestly I’m very on the fence about it,” Radar Online quoted her as telling Mills.


“I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening and it’s going to come down to me making a decision of what I want to do for the next year,” she added.

Washington, June 26 : It has emerged that Jennifer Lopez may not return to judge the 'American Idol' because her husband Marc Anthony wants her to quit the show.

According to EntertainmentWise, a source said Marc Anthony is 'pushing Lopez to quit Idol because he wants her to spend more time with him and their children," reports Contact music.

The source added that the actress and singer "is ready to commit to a few more seasons, because she loves the job and the money, but Marc wants her to quit so she can spend more time with him."

People in Britain are accusing unscrupulous music executive, Simon Cowell, of rigging the talent show "Britain's Got Talent." The claims spring from the fact, Cowell, is said to have met 12-year-old finalist, cute Ronan Parke, who is now a Justin Bieber mini-me, two years prior to the preteen entering the show as a contestant, which is a violation of the rules.

However, many people read the article before it was removed by the blog service and cache features still retain copies of the item.

Cowell is so fake and phony. He knows nothing about music or talent. He is always missing the mark on real talent and attempting to copy or steal what others have done, then slapping his disgraceful name on it.
