Actor Sunny Deol Will Star In His Political Drama Film Gannit

Sunny Deol was last seen in Neeraj Pathak's Right Yaaa Wrong?, and he seems to have struck a connection with the director, because he has co-directed the Shilpa Shetty-starrer The Man with him and will star in his political drama film Gannit.

Sunny is currently shooting for Samir Karnik's Yamla Pagla Deewana with his father and brother in Indore. In July, he will start shooting for Pathak's Gannit. The film is a political thriller and Sunny's first attempt at a film like that. He is playing the protagonist, and there will be three female characters and two other male characters.

Neeraj Pathak will make an official announcement in a week. He said, 'The film is based on real-life political situations, but not on any true incidents. It will depict the scenario in Uttar Pradesh, and will be shot over there.'
