1280 Prints Of Raavan In Different Versions To Storm Cinema Halls

Raavan team has left for London from Mumbai. They will be attending the world premiere of Raavan in London on Wednesday today (June 16) night at BFI, Southbank. It will be a red carpet affair, and those who would be attending the function would be Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Meanwhile in Chennai, Madras Talkies the producers of the film have come out with a press note that says- “The long wait is finally getting over. Come Friday, Raavan aka Raavanan is all set to sweep the feet of movie-buffs across the globe. Produced by Madras Talkies in association with Reliance Big Pictures the craze and excitement for Mani Ratnam's magnum opus is getting bigger and bigger”.

Madras Talkies press note further states – “Raavanan will be releasing on June 18 in Tamil Nadu, with a total of 220 prints and overseas 125 prints. In Andhra Pradesh, 125 prints of Villain beside 25 prints for overseas”. The advance booking for the film in Chennai city would start on Wednesday morning. The Hindi version starring Abhishek Bachchan as the male protagonist with Aishwara Rai and Vikram in the cast would be released with 500 prints across the country besides 305 for overseas. In total 1280 prints of Raavan in different versions are set to storm cinema halls.
