Would Tiger Woods Benefit From A Sports Psychologist

Tiger Woods

Would Tiger Woods benefit from the assistance of a sports psychologist? The answer is yes. The world's most gifted golfer saw his game deteriorate, after news of his marital infidelities hit the front pages of newspapers all over the world.

The press was and to some degree still is relentless in their pursuit of the worst possible Woods stories they can get away with printing. Even his devastated ex-wife, Elin Nordgren Woods, began to lose her hair under the intense spotlight that accompanied the scandal.

Woods' game began to suffer in a way it never had before. Shots he used to effortlessly make on the golf course, were no longer hitting their mark. His talent for golf didn't disappear, but his mind is somewhere else and this is the problem.

It is clear Woods is not suffering from physical problems on the golf course. His problem is an unsettled and distressed mind, from the marriage problems and press saga that publicly unfolded, due to his extramarital affairs. A sports psychologist could refocus Woods and help bring him back to his best golf game. He needs to find his form again.

Gays And Sports

The Soccer Swan

Football isn't known for having gays, so imagine my surprise when I caught glimpse of the referee in the above posted video. He was busy handing out red cards, in-between surprisingly nimble ballet moves, but one would think he'd be issuing pink cards...with streamers...and sparkles...and glitter. Just teasing.

Well Here's Something You Don't See At Wimbledon - "The Gayest Tennis Serve Ever"

I saw the aforementioned video on YouTube and didn't know quite what to make of it either. A tennis player at an amateur gay league in London tried a new serve that got more attention than he bargained for. Not quite a Rafael Nadal or Andy Roddick blistering serve, now is it.

No, I'm not picking on gay people, but if I saw a straight person refereeing or serving like that I'd laugh as well. Then again, a straight person wouldn't move that delicately, now would they.
