Sonakshi Sinha Starring Opposite Akshay Kumar

‘Dabangg’ hottie Sonakshi Sinha is all set to play Mandakini in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2’.

While the names of Katrina, Kareena and Deepika already doing rounds, it was revealed lately that Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi has bagged the plum project, starring opposite Akshay Kumar.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria are taking their time to choose the leading lady for ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2’.

They want the girl to be perfect. Initially, they wanted a leading lady to essay the role of Mandakini. But now, they are considering Sonakshi Sinha.”

“Akshay and Sonakshi are already doing Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Rowdy Rathod’ to be directed by Prabhudeva together.

Ekta and Milan will obviously keep that in mind while making their choice,” said the source speaking about Akshay and Sonakshi’s on-screen compatibility.

However, apart from Akshay, the female is yet to be finalised for another hero in the film. “They are still looking for the parallel hero in the film.

Once the second actor is finalised, Ekta and Milan will take a call on who will play the leading lady,” added the source.

Sonakshi Sinha Joined The Party With Salman Khan

Salman Khan’s next release ‘Ready’ is all set to come out soon and the trailors are on air. Music of the film was released recently. To celebrate the successful music release, Sallu threw a party at his house for his close group of friends and cast of the film.

Sallu invited, Asin, the film’s leading lady and also Zarine Khan who has done an item song in the film. Apart from the film crew he also invited his ‘Dabangg’ co-star, Sonakshi Sinha.

Sonakshi joined the party later at night to celebrate the music launch with Salman. It has been noted in the past that the dusky beauty is extremely possessive of her ‘Dabangg’ co-star and she does not like any other actor getting close to him. The guests at the party noticed Sonakshi’s possessive streak.

An eye-witness revealed to a daily, "She pushed Zarine, while walking past her, and then pretended that she hadn`t even realised it!”

The source added, "It was such a sight. We thought a catfight would break out. We didn`t know where to look and whether to laugh. When Sona first walked in, she walked past Zarine, without greeting her. Later when she saw that ZK was bonding with Salman and he was introducing her to all her friends, the Dabangg girl couldn`t hide her irritation.

Also the fact that Sallu got his buddy Sajid Nadiadwala to cast Zarine in Housefull 2 was still bothering her. Never mind the fact that he was instrumental in getting her a role in Shirish Kunder`s Joker. Sonakshi sees Zarine as a rival for Salman`s affections and young and spunky that she is, the Shotgun Junior (as she calls herself) decided to literally push her out of her way.

Apparently Salman is very fond of both the actresses as they both debuted with him, Zarine in ‘Veer’ and Sonakshi in ‘Dabangg’. The actor thinks both of them have great potential and has been often overheard recommending their names to filmmakers.

However when the incident took place Sallu was busy with his other guests and he did not notice the dusky beauty push the dimpled actress. According to the people at the party when Zarine reacted to Sonakshi’s rude push, the ‘Dabangg’ girl said it was "an accident. Not done intentionally".

Now that is a little hard to believe since we are very well aware about Sonakshi’s cold vibes with Kat, Salman’s ex and it seems it Zarine is now on her hit list.

Both actresses remained unavailable for any comment and better still Sonakshi denied the incident all together.

Sonakshi Sinha To Drop Weight For Joker And Race 2

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha is on a rigorous exercise regime to drop weight for her upcoming roles in Joker and Race 2.

The actress, who had been quite chubby, reduced her weight for her debut film Dabangg. This was as advised by Salman Khan, whom the actress considers her mentor.

Sonakshi, realising that she now needs to look even slimmer, has hit the gym and has been working out without a break.

It is reported that Sonakshi will be replacing Bipasha Basu in the sequel of Race. Bipasha had a glamorous role in Race, but Sonakshi’s earlier statements that she wouldn’t take up steamy scenes have made viewers wonder how would Sonakshi be a replacement for Basu? Will the role be changed for Sonkshi or will she reverse her statements? We are yet to see.

Sonakshi Sinha Bikini Image In Maxim Cover

sonakshimaxim

Sonakshi Sinha who recently posed for Maxim cover, was shocked to see her fake bikini image doing the rounds in media.

Her mentor Salman Khan is also fuming over the image as he had adviced Sonakshi not to pose for Maxim in the first place, rumour mills suggest.

Sonakshi wrote on microblogging site Twitter, "I’m on Maxim is right, but the figure (pun intended) completely wrong!

Would’ve been smart if they checked out the magazine before writing whatever they felt like. It’s not about me anymore but about their credibility."

Sonakshi Sinha has always maintained she won’t be seen in revealing clothes in her films.

The actress would next be seen opposite Salman Khan in Kick and Akshay Kumar in Joker.

Salman Refused To Accept Sonakshi's Amount

It seems Sonakshi Sinha wants to return Salman’s favors by donating her first earnings to his charitable trust Being Human. It is known that Salman Khan is highly instrumental in shaping her personality and launching her in Bollywood.

Sonakshi confirms, “Yes I did. I believe in the art of giving and I have donated my signing amount to Being Human.” The actress is happy with her decision of helping the charity organization with her first and foremost earning.

She further reveals that Salman refused to accept her signing amount since it was her first earning and like any other newcomer it was very special to her. “Salman wanted me to spend it on myself and refused to take it but after lots of forcing I finally got him to accept it. It was the least I could do,” says sonakshi

Speaking about Salman she says, “Salman pushed me to better myself in every way, be it fitness, acting or overall personality! Have to say, Dabangg was a smooth process for me because he was there as a mentor and guide.”

It seems Salman’s generosity has rubbed on to her.

Sonakshi Sinha Has Resemblance Monica Bellucci

‘Dabangg’ promo is out and the newcomer Sonakshi Sinha, who makes her Bollywood debut with the film, is getting a lot of compliments. Surprisingly, her friends and fans think Sonakshi has a strong resemblance to Hollywood actress Monica Bellucci.

Sonakshi has worked a lot on her body to make herself apt for Bollywood. The actress has been getting a lot of calls and messages after the promo but is amused with her fans comparing her looks to Monica Bellucci.

But although new in Bollywood, Sonakshi seems to be mastering the art of taking things in a lighter vein. When we asked her about the hot comparison, she laughed it off and agreed that most of her friends have told her about the similarities. “Do you really feel that? My friends keep telling me that but I never believe them,” Sonakshi gushed.

It can be recalled that before loosing weight Sonakshi was compared to yesteryear actress Rina Roy and the young lass never liked it. But it seems the actress is cool with her resemblance to Monica Bellucci this time!
