Vesna Jakimovska was crowned Miss Macedonia 2011 at the Roger Piano Music Hall in Skopje on September 28, 2011. She is 20 year old and will represent the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6.

Miss World India 2011, Kanishtha Dhankar

Kanishtha Dhankar was crowned Femina Miss India World 2011 in a dazzling pageant held on April 14 in Mumbai. Kanishtha is a model and stands 5 feet 9.5 meters tall. She loves travelling, swimming and eating food. She will represent her country at the 2011 Miss World Pageant held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre on November 6, 2011 in London. Alexandria Mills of the United States will crown her succesor at the end of the event.

MISS UNIVERSE 2011 : The Day After…

The pageant is over, and all delegates are on their way home; but one of them stays and it’s only the beginning for her. Leila Lopes, the new Miss Universe, gave an interview to Rede Band at the Hilton Hotel on Tuesday morning, her first official appearance as the new titleholder. She will then travel to New York which will be her home for one year.

Among her first appearances as the 60th Miss Universe are a visit to Singapore and to Indonesia, for the crowning of Puteri Indonesia 2011-2012. Bruno Zanardo/Fotoarena
