I'm down here dear! Alessanda Ambrosio towers over fiance Jamie Mazur as they step out for a romantic evening in LA

Alessandra Ambrosio looked at her statuesque best as she stepped out in Hollywood last night.



But her fiance, businessman Jamie Mazur didn't appear to be quite on top of his game.



The model towered over Jamie as they left celebrity watering hole The Writers Room.

The pair, who had enjoyed a romantic evening together looked rather awkward as they were spotted leaving the eatery, as if they were aware of the stark contrast between their heights.



Alessandra looked stunning in a one shoulder white dress carrying a sparkly McQueen clutch, but she may have regretted the necessarily high tan heels.



Her willowy legs hardly needed the enhancement length-wise .



Meanwhile his outfit choice of a black leather jacket and grey jeans and top meant that Jamie blended a bit too effectively into the background.



The model's bright white ensemble only emphasised her five foot ten form.



A little perspective: The difference was less obvious when Alessandra walked slightly behind Jamie, but he was practically invisible when she stood in front of him





But despite a moody look from Jamie as Alessadra strode ahead on her endless legs, the couple looked cheerful as they approached the car.



They certainly had reason to celebrate, as it was their adorable daughter Anja's third birthday yesterday.



Taking to Twitter, Alessandra wrote: 'What a fun day !!! Had the best time with my family and friends at my daughter's birthday!!! 3 years being a mother... best years of my life!!!'



She attached a photo of a giant number three made of pink balloons, with huge bunches of more pink balloons either side.



The threesome have been enjoying family life recently with a holiday in Hawaii.

Alessandra revealed that her incredible figure was due in part to some impressive surfing skills, and she showed off the effects of all that exercise in an array of skimpy bikinis during their trip.



'I love doing Pilates, yoga and I bike ride,' she told Hollyscoop. 'I love surfing too and being at the beach.



'For my diet I like eating lighter in the summer, lots of salads and vegetables. It makes you feel good during the day.'



She also spoke about getting back in shape after she gave birth to Anja.



'To get my body back after giving birth - there is no secret. It's all about working out hard and eating really healthy.'
